Auction Note – Ms. Shannan Cotton is retiring from this great family business and selling all items and the real estate. Just the right size shop and machinery that was well maintained! Come see us on October 3 or jump online!

Blackmon Auctions is conducting this auction in conjunction with Jerry Mauldin Machinery who has been instrumental in helping the family along with this process. Jerry is very familiar with the machinery in this shop and is available for any questions. 501-766-5494 about the machines. (Auction procedure questions direct to Billy at 501-352-4703). Also instrumental on the back end of this auction will be our local rigging company, Moore Industrial Service, Jesse Moore, 501-580-7318. Please contact him in advance of the auction regarding loading out the “big items” like lathes and drills and other obvious items that are going to need a professional and the costs to you regarding that.

Type Auction – This will be an onsite auction combined with a virtual online auction! Whether you are bidding in person onsite or logged into Proxibid to bid online, it will progress as a typical live auction. Of course Pre-Bidding, Early Bidding and Max Bidding will be available online – beginning a few days before the auction.

Buyers Premium/Fee/Terms – No sales tax will be charged at this auction. Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the bid price of each item/all purchases – This applies to purchases made on site and online. An additional premium of 4% (Total 14%) will be added if bidding online. If you bid online, invoices will be emailed to the email address used at registration immediately after the conclusion of the auction. Included in this email will be the Invoice and Wire Transfer Instructions and Credit Card Payment Link. Payment is expected the day of the auction or the next morning. If you don’t see your invoice in your inbox soon after the last items of the auction sells please check spam/junk folders. 

Inspection – Buyers are encouraged to inspect items before bidding. Inspection is the day before the auction from 8AM-4:30PM. There will be two other days of inspection prior to the auction as well, hosted by Jerry Mauldin Machinery! – Friday and Saturday the week before, September 26-27 from Noon to 4PM each day. 

Load Out \ Equipment Removal – In order to care best for your purchases there will be some items that the buyer will be responsible for loading/paying someone to load. Jesse Moore with Moore Industrial Service is familiar with this tightly spaced building and the machinery and comes well recommended! Contact him in advance (501-580-7318 and mooreindustrialservice@gmail.com) about the process and costs involved. We will have a forklift there to assist with many of the “smaller” items. Please remove all items the week of October 6. Hours are 8AM-4:30 PM. BRING/SEND AUCTION INVOICE WITH YOUR DRIVER TO SHOW TO PERSONNEL ON SITE or you will not be able to remove purchases. Any items left on the yard after a week or so may be subject to storage fees. If you buy several larger machine of course we will extend that time frame. 

Shipping – Neither Blackmon Auctions nor the seller will package items for shipping or arrange shipment of items – This will be the responsibility of the buyer. 

Storage Fees / Liability – If you leave your item on this site after the assigned removal date above you may be subject to storage fees. Buyers: Upon the fall of the gavel (SOLD) the item becomes your responsibility so please make sure you notify your insurance company etc. 

Condition of Equipment – This was a good operating machine shop. Blackmon nor the seller offer or imply any guarantees or warranties of condition or functionality. Any guess/estimation of condition printed is based of information gathered from past history but hasn’t been confirmed. Blackmon Auctions sells all items in the traditional auction form, AS IS Where Is/No Warranties or Guarantees regarding condition. A complete mechanical inspection by a qualified professional has not been conducted so there may be issues/imperfections that are not known to us. Our estimations of condition are not to be considered a guarantee of functionality now or into the future. Presumption of functionality beyond the information we are able to provide/determine is the responsibility/liability of the bidder. As Is. We hope your auction experience is a successful one!
