Several Locations - Auction will be conducted Online Only. First Lot will end at 9am March 30th and each lot will continue to end 45 seconds later. Auction Note -
Norfolk Southern Railroad is offering surplus equipment located across the U.S. for sale. All items are sold As Is, Where Is in their current condition. Descriptions and condition estimates are provided for your convenience but should not be considered guarantees of condition or functionality.
Online Only Auction -
Bidding will begin a few days before the auction. You can pre-bid at any time or enter a maximum bid, and the Proxibid automated system will bid on your behalf according to bid increments. Bidding is also available during the live closing.
Extended Bidding: If a bid is submitted within the last minute of an items closing, a 45-60 second extension will be added to allow for competitive bidding.
Terms Buyers Premium & Payment:
A 10% buyers premium will be added to all purchases. Invoices will be emailed at the conclusion of the auction. If you dont see your invoice in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder.
Payment:
Payment is due by 5:00 PM on the day after the auction.
Inspection
Buyers are encouraged to inspect items before bidding. Inspection will be the day before the auction from 8-4:30. To inspect early by appointment only contact Billy with Blackmon Auctions at 501-352-4703 or billy@blackmonauctions.com and lets see if there is availability
Load Out \ Equipment Removal -
Buyers are ultimately 100% responsible for loading and transporting all purchases.
Do not assume that Norfolk Southern Railroad will load your item. There may be no loading assistance and no loading dock at the location. Please ensure you send the appropriate trailer and qualified driver.
If your equipment requires a key, please provide one.
Contact the designated contact for each item you purchase before sending your truck for pickup.
Bring a copy of your paid auction invoice with your driver... your items will not be loaded without it.
All items must be removed within 60 days of the auction. There may be NO load out assistance available. If an item remains after 60 days daily storage fees may apply to each item.
